Cut Flower

To enjoy your flowers at their most beautiful, please follow our care recommendations:

Preparing the Vase

Wash the vase thoroughly, as bacteria will cause the flowers to wilt quickly.
Fill a clean vase with lukewarm water and add the provided flower food.
Note that bulb flowers, such as tulips and daffodils, require cold water, whereas woody-stemmed flowers, such as hydrangeas and roses, require hot water.

Preparing the Flowers

Remove the paper wrapping and hydration pack.
Keep the binding string in place to preserve the hand-crafted design.
Place the flowers immediately into water to prevent airlocks. The water should reach up to the binding point. Ensure that the lowest leaves do not touch the water.
If you bought the flowers without a water pack, cut a new, angled surface at the base of each stem using a clean, sharp knife or flower scissors.
Ensure the water level reaches all stems, including the shorter ones.

Placement and Maintenance

Position your flowers away from direct sunlight, draughty spots and heat sources such as radiators.
Keep the flowers away from fruit bowls, as the ethylene gas released by fruit speeds up wilting.
Refresh the water and re-trim the stems every three days to prolong their beauty (or whenever the water gets cloudy).
If necessary, carefully cut away any withered flowers, but leave the binding string intact.
Remove any foliage that would sit below the waterline to help keep the water clear and fresh.

When properly cared for, a mixed bouquet should last approximately five to seven days. Individual flowers may fade at different times, simply remove them as the bouquet matures.

Plant care

Orchid

Our orchid plants are selected for their high quality and elegance. With proper care, your orchid will bring you joy for weeks.

Place your orchid in a bright spot, avoiding direct sunlight.
Protect the plant from drafts and extreme temperatures (not below 12 °C or above 25 °C).
Water the orchid only when the roots inside the pot turn from green to silvery-grey.
Submerge the plastic pot in room-temperature water for about 15 minutes.
Allow excess water to drain completely before placing it back into the decorative pot; the plant should never stand in water.

When properly cared for, the orchid’s bloom lasts about four to six weeks. Once the flowering has ended, cut the flower spike above the leaves at the third node (joint) – over time, a new flower spike may grow from there.
